CATWALK'S CONQUEST TOUR ~ "Conquering Freedom"

CatWalk have been given an amazing opportunity to import and promote a Martin Conquest motorcycle from the UK. The Conquest is a 3 wheeler, high performance motorcycle that gives wheelchair users the ultimate freedom of driving directly from their wheelchairs!!

The team at CatWalk are very excited about this as the Conquest will be the first of its type in New Zealand, and as well as promoting this fabulous motorcycle, we are confident that through our CatWalk's Conquest Tour ~ "Conquering Freedom" promotion, we can raise a lot of money towards SCI research and getting people out of wheelchairs and back on their feet, out ultimate goal!

CatWalk's Conquest Tour will kick off from Auckland on 29 October and travel down the country, heading all the way to Invercargill before finishing in Christchurch on 13 November where the auctioning of the Conquest bike will be one of the highlights at our Up & Away Charity Dinner & Auction at Wigram's Air Force Museum.

We have been advertising for expressions of interest from individual wheelchair users who would love the opportunity to ride a section of the tour and we have had a marvellous response to date. If you haven't yet contacted us and would like the chance to have a ride on this really cool motorcycle, contact Kim at the CatWalk office. Applications for riders close Friday 13 June.

As well as riders, we are also looking for sponsors for the 16 individual sections of the tour. So if you have any business contacts that you think would like to support this first in New Zealand promotion, we would really appreciate letting us know.

We also want bike enthusiasts to join us on the road and ride alongside the Conquest. We want to raise as much noise as possible when going through each area, so any bikers out there, dust off your leathers, and come along for the ride. Kim has the itinerary available to let you know dates and areas we will be visiting.

And of course if you are willing to put your hand up and organise an event in the cities and towns we visit, we would really like to hear from you too. The more people involved in this event, the more exposure we are going to get, and hopefully the more money we will make for SCI research.

Remember this remarkable motorcycle will be auctioned at the end of this promotion, so start sorting out your finances, or get your friends and family to start fundraising NOW because someone will take this motorcycle home at the end of the night on the 13 November!!!
