CatWalk's New York Marathon

The CatWalk Trust’s quest to get people out of wheelchairs and back on their feet turns into a marathon effort – New York 2010!

The CatWalk Spinal Cord Injury Trust is proud to announce that 20 participants are ‘stepping up’ to participate in the 2010 New York Marathon which kicks off in New York on 7th November 2010.  Numerous supporters will be joining them to cheer them along.

This premier event is one of the world’s greatest road races, drawing more than 100,000 applicants.  The race attracts many world-class professional athletes, not only for the more than $600,000 in prize money, but also for the chance to excel in the media capital of the world before more than two million cheering spectators and 315 million worldwide television viewers.

As the 700,000 past participants will attest, crossing the finish line in Central Park is one of the great thrills of a lifetime.

Support this team in their quest to run the New York Marathon to raise funds and awareness for The CatWalk Trust – committed to a cure for Spinal Cord Injuries.  You can assist in pushing the boundaries and pace of scientific research that will enable spinal cord injury victims to walk, run and dance again.

Everyday the CatWalk team are working together to fulfil their goal to help people living with spinal cord injuries get out of wheelchairs and back on their feet – this is your opportunity to get behind them.
