TOUCH COMPASS COMMUNITY DANCE WORKSHOP

Back in Wellington for one workshop only in 2009!

Don't miss the chance to learn from NZ's leading integrated dance company Touch Compass, who combine dancers with and without a disability in stunning performances and training events.  All levels of skill and ability welcome.  This workshop will offer participants the opportunity to express their creativity through movement in a fun and supportive environment.

Attendees will gain experience of Integrated Dance methods, based in Contact Improvisation, which will provide skills that can be utilised in their own practice.

When:  Saturday/Sunday 11th & 12th July 2009

Time:  10am - 3pm both days

Venue:  Te Whaea, National Dance & Drama Centre - 11 Hutchison Rd, Newtown, Wellington

What to bring:  Comfortable clothing & water bottle
