“Having played contact sports as well asbeing keen on the outdoors, I have become aware just how random spinal cord injuries are and how fortunate I am not to have been affected.
Due to an accident to a family member I have learned a little of the challenges faced by those who have sustained spinal cord injuries and also by their families and friends who support them.
My association with the CatWalk SCI Trust provides me with a practical way to help.
As CatWalk ‘grows up’ the role of its Trustees is also maturing with it. We as Trustees have responsibilities to our supporters and partners, and good governance continues to be of the utmost importance. While I was not involved in the early stages when Catriona and her supporters rolled up their sleeves and turned her idea into a reality, I am excited about being involved in the next stage of CatWalks progress. “
