Derek has worked in advertising for around 30 years, both here in NZ and, originally, in the UK. He works for DraftFCB (the country’s 3rd largest agency) & specialises in the planning and buying of advertising space His current role is Managing Director of the Media operation.

He was originally born in the UK but came out here in 1989 for 2 or 3 years and stayed! He has a 19 year old daughter, Emily, who is currently studying at Canterbury University, and he lives in Parnell, Auckland with his partner Kath.

Ben Petro

Ben has worked for the ANZ National Bank since 1996. He is currently a Director - Fixed Income Trading responsible for trading debt securities in the Financial markets division. In addition, Ben is the NZ point contact for the Asian Markets division of ANZ which requires frequent travel around the Asian region.

Ben has a Bachelor of Commerce from Lincoln University, a postgraduate diploma of Banking and a Master of Business Studies from Massey University.

Based in Sydney, Scott founded Greenstone Partners in 2003 - an independent corporate advisory firm focused on middle market mergers, acquisitions and divestments.

He has over 20 years experience in the investment banking industry in Australia and the USA. Prior to founding Greenstone Partners, Scott was a Director of Credit Suisse's investment banking department in Sydney.

Scott was previously an Associate in Chase Manhattan Bank's Aerospace Group in New York from 1990 to 1994.

Brigitte Yorke

Brigitte comes from a family of horse riders but has chosen a very different path for herself and works as a freelance Production Manager on Feature Films in Wellington.

Brigitte has worked on "Lord of the Rings", "King Kong" and Avatar" and is currently working on "The Hobbit".

Pip McCarroll

Pip McCarroll has a BA in Education and is experienced in event management, having been a director of a small tourism business in Wellington. Her other job skills have been with New Zealand Equestrian Federation as Director of Coaching for three years.

Pip is a mother of three which keeps her constantly on her toes. However, she still manages to actively assist in all facets of the Trust, lending her expertise and time regulalry.

Rebecca comes from a legal family in Wellington. She and Catriona Williams are childhood friends having ridden together for many years in the 1980s and 1990s on the equestrian circuit. Rebecca and Pip McCarroll are two of the founding trustees of CatWalk.
