Congratulations to the whole team, their supporters and sponsors – Thirty EIght in 38 completed and over $25,000 raised for spinal cord injury research – thank you!!
We are a group of thirteen young adults, who would like to contribute to the fundraising effort for this vital cause. On the 7th and 8th of December 2019 we aim to climb Mauao (Mount Maunganui) 38 times – the equivalent vertical height of Mount Everest – to raise awareness about CatWalk’s work and fundraise money to support their efforts. To this end, we will push the limits of what we can do on our own feet, so that someday more people will be able to get back on theirs. We are all excited and daunted by the task ahead but we know this doesn’t compare to the difficulties faced by people with spinal cord injuries; we hope to help give legs to those who can’t yet use their own. We would love your support in donating, sharing this event with friends and family, planning a trip to support us, or any combination thereof.
