CatWalk International Patron, Zara Tindall, flew into Aotearoa last week to support two CatWalk events.
On July 29th, Zara paid tribute to the support CatWalk has received from the thoroughbred racing industry. At an exclusive industry lunch at Cambridge Stud, she helped to launch ‘The Horsemakers – a history of the people who shaped the New Zealand thoroughbred’.
A successful equestrian in her own right, Zara was captivated with the beautiful Cambridge Stud and delighted to chat with New Zealand thoroughbred industry leaders.
‘The Horsemakers’ goes on sale in November, with all proceeds donated to help cure spinal cord injuries. Our sincerest thanks to hosts Sir Brendan and Lady Jo Lindsay and the wonderful team at Cambridge Stud.
Then Zara flew on to Queenstown, where the following evening she joined a small group of key CatWalk supporters for an intimate dinner at Billy’s, the signature restaurant at Ayrburn. Set in the original homestead, Billy’s provided a gorgeous setting and an exzquisite menu.
Zara spoke to her long relationship with CatWalk Founder, Catriona Williams, and her ongoing personal support of spinal cord injury research.
With entertainment by the incredible Charlotte Graf and band Ginger & Tonic, a great night was had by all. Funds raised contribute to the CatWalk Cure Programme and the team of researchers dedicated to finding a cure.
