At the recent Waipapa Taumata Rau University of Auckland Chancellor’s Dinner, CatWalk was inducted into the Sir Maurice O’Rorke Society – a very proud moment in CatWalk’s journey!

The Maurice O’Rorke Society is the senior membership tier of the Chancellor’s Circle. The Chancellor’s Circle recognises generous philanthropists who, over the years, have made important contributions to the University of Auckland, helping to shape its direction and achievements. Members of the Sir Maurice O’Rorke Society have made contributions in excess of $5 million, showing tremendous leadership, investment and dedication in their support.

CatWalk’s entry to the Society was triggered by the launch of the CatWalk Cure Programme. This unique partnership includes CatWalk’s five-year, multi-million dollar commitment to the University through the Cure Programme; our long-term support of the Spinal Cord Injury Research Facility; funding of individual researchers through our contestable grant round; and our continued support of the Brain Bee.

Grant, who is the Chair of the CatWalk Cure Programme, is pictured accepting the University’s acknowledgment from Chancellor, Cecilia Tarrant.

CatWalk was represented by Nick White, Trustee Nicky White, Chris Lovelady and Deputy Chair, Grant Sharman.

Make a difference, today.

Spinal cord injury does not have to be a life sentence. A cure is within reach. Your support helps to bring that cure closer.
Thank you.
